Easy Cheese Ball

Ingredients
- 9 oz. Palmetto Cheese Whipped, any variety
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 slices bacon, chopped
Instructions
- Chop bacon and add to a small skillet on medium heat. Cook until the bacon turns brown. Remove excess grease from the pan.
- Add chopped walnuts to the bacon and stir to combine.
- Cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until the nuts are fragrant and slightly browned.
- Remove from the heat and pour the mixture onto a dinner plate. Let cool completely.
- In a small bowl, add cranberries and Palmetto Cheese Whipped and stir to combine.
- With a spatula, form the Palmetto Cheese Whipped mixture into a ball and place onto the plate with the nuts. Cover the ball completely with the nut mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to an hour before serving.
Notes
Mix-In Options:
Just like any cheese ball, feel free to add your favorite mix-ins. Olives, jalapenos, dried apricots, sundried tomatoes, capers and green onions are also great options.
Walnuts can also be substituted with almonds, pecans, pine nuts or pistachios.
